Orange or Skin Contact White Wine is making a name for it and more producers are trying their hand at it. In essence, Orange wine is white grape varietes, in this case Grenache & Chenin Blanc, but treated like a red wine in the sense that the skins are left to macerate in the juice with the hope of extracting more flavour and texture.
