I looked for some good composition among the wildflowers and misty landscape to set up the tripod and waited briefly when the morning colors of the sunrise began to fill the sky

I was fascinated watching a few common loons swim and then dive to try and catch fish to reenergize throughout the morning

became my focus as I thought it was a beautiful and scenic moment with very good lighting
