A Once Forgotten Shore Flowers and Forests as it was all pretty20 x 20 x 1. 5 Acrylic on canvas Vinland, was the name given by the Norse Vikings to the northern part of Newfoundland that was explored and briefly settled by them about 1000 AD at a location now know as L Anse aux Meadows. I was fortunate to discover the northern tip of Newfoundland 3 years ago on our Cross Canada adventure! If you get a chance be sure to go, it is an amazing place!
