This Whisky is produced using unpeated Barley and is then fermented in English Stout Yeast and Triple Distilled before being matured in ex Sherry and Chardonnay casks for 6 to 7 years

Sailors Home The Journey Irish Whiskey 70cl Emporia Brands small batch gin was launchedThis release from the Sailors team really has been on a bit of a 'Journey', initially the Whiskey is matured inside Virgin American Oak barrels before being transferred into American Bourbon Barrels. From this they then bring it together with another Irish Whiskey which has been aged American Bourbon Barrels before finally going into Jamaican Rum Casks to finish off. The result is an Amber coloured liquid with notes of Sticky Toffee on the forefront
