A beautiful and colorful sunrise appears in the distance as the South Fork Kishwaukee River slowly and smoothly moves along through the landscape picking up the reflections of that sunrise and trees of oak and box elder along with the dam from the busy beavers handy work at Wildflower Park

A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I gaze out overlooking Wildflower Lake only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead
