R(W) pattern handlamp in fantastic ex signal box condition and retaining all its original paint, these lamps were issued to signal boxes only and were used by Fogsignalman when fog working. The orange band at the base identifies is easily and a 4 aspect handlamp, ie having a yellow shade. The lamp case is embossed B R (W) , A very pleasing example.
