This rare Alloy signal lever appliance may have been used on a miniature levers power frame on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway but almost certainly on mechanical levers

These "ergonomic" instruments were a direct replacement for the classic "Spagnoletti" blocks which had given over 70 years of reliable service

This feature was not successful and most instruments were rebuilt by fitting a complete new top
