NGC7662 - The Blue Snowball Sun when the reemerging sunlight beginsNGC7662 is best known as the Blue Snowball Nebula. It is a planetary nebula that is just forming. The interior star is beginning its end of life cycle, but still illuminating the nebula from within. While exceedingly bright, it is very compact, with the inner core area only measuring about 15 arc seconds across (about the size of a dinner plate from a few miles away!). This is likely my highest resolution result ever from my telescope system. Within
