With wings open, the insect is studded with gleaming red and white gemstones spinel and ruby alongside glistening rose cut diamonds. Era: Victorian, circa 1880 Head size: 4. 3cm by 3. 3cm Stones: Spinel & Ruby (4. 79ct total calculated) and Diamond Marks: None present, tested as 9ct gold Condition: Good antique condition, some evidence of a previous
