HERZOG SELECTION FRANCE CHATEAU FOURCAS DUPRE 750 ML hashval_F343546F52071719D9689F99BE959815F8D4AA39 and the palate has lotsThe wine has a medium to deep ruby red color with purple hues at the rim. The aromas are initially of slightly meaty & slightly dilute red fruits. The wine has fresh acidity & fine tannins. Juicy black fruit reveals itself on the mid palate but is closed up by astringent tannins at present the fruit should open with time. Alcohol is balanced and the structure, rather than the fruit gives length to the finish.
