Georgian Garnet "Picture Frame" Ring necklaces The stone is bezel setA remarkable Georgian ring with Picture Frame head built around a central flat cut garnet. The stone is set over foil to bring out its gorgeous reddish purple colour, and it's bordered by a thin seam of vivid cobalt blue enamel and a deeply engraved foilate border. It dates from the early 19th century, circa 1800, with round flat cut garnet shoulders alongside star motifs leading to a simple fluted band. Crafted in 15ct gold throughout. Era: Georgian,
