manzu ottoman | Alias pendant lamps Aalto chose to use nativeDesign Pio Manzu, 1967 Made in Italy by Alias Alias revisits a key archive project by Pio Manz, the brilliant protagonist of Italian automobile design during the sixties. The idea materialized at the GAMeC of Bergamo where the archives of Pio Manz's work are stored. The attention was drawn to a prototype chair clearly taking its inspiration from the automobile industry. The decision was also made to integrate a footrest on a four star base, designed
