Rocky Cascade Trees I loved the wide stretchI painted this on location in the Great Smoky Mountains of east Tennessee, along the Middle Prong River. The process behind this piece was fun. Before the first dollop of paint hit the surface, I created a textured ground that complemented the rugged features of this subject. I really like how this painting came together.
