This would be a great one to either use for reenacting or for display since it is already a little damaged and you wouldn't need to worry about it to much

so it doesn't spin and flop around when you are carrying it

but I can confirm they are original to the time period and are German

It is in good condition with only a little bit of wear along the edge

There is some wear to the cover and someone penciled over the swastika a bit. Other than the cover issues, it is in good condition. It measures about 5 3 4" by 4 1 8".
