The domaine is certified organic (Ecocert) and biodynamic (Biodyvin), with roots going back to the 1890s. 'En Chenin' is drawn from a four hectare selection on the left bank of the Layon. 100% Chenin Blanc from old vines, some planted as early as the 1910s, on silt and grey schist (Brioverian metagreywacke)
