Inspired by the the artist's vision of desert winds moving the sand, the colors are gorgeous together. Finely woven, thin and light, less than 3 ounces per 42" wide yard. It's only slightly drapey, and a little see through, with no sheen and no slubs. In India this cotton silk is often made into sarees, shawls, and scarves.
