where the country roads ran across the open landscape beneath expansive skies just like this

I had a lot of fun painting this subject because of its powerful contrasts and movement. Plus, my inner nerd couldnt resist this play on words title. This is the second painting from Yellow Creek Falls in this year's 25 Days of Minis, following Study, Evoke.
