Morvarid underlay Slight wear to the baseA mid 20th century Hamadan long rug from northwest Persia. An accomplished design that is quite in proportion to the size of the rug. Flowerheads, palmettes and vine are rendered in a restrained semi geometrical manner and set on a soft red pink ground, within a complementary border.
