The base jacquard also has narrow wave lines, and the red and white dyed ones almost touch them in a few places. Lyrical and undulating, in blue that is so dark it's almost black, this silk is very soft, sleek, supple and drapey. It's lightweight and flowy, and the satin finish is subtle; not too shiny. The back is solid and even closer to pure black
