Mystery Jug With German Canteen Cap auction Vintage 1940s salmon pink dressThis is a vet bring back item but I have no idea what it was for. The cap is identical to an aluminum canteen cap, but does not have any markings. The bottle is made in the same way as a canteen, but is a more useful bottle shape. This probably holds more than 1L. I am tempted to say it could be an early post war thing and just brought back by someone that was on occupation duty. Its in good condition.
