It really showcases the transition between the WWII type canteen and the later East German canteens quite well. These early canteens also have a number of traits found in some very late war canteens. There is some mothing on the cover of the canteen where the cup rests against the bottle. Some staining. It needs a very good cleaning. More East German items here.
