Klammern means clothing pins and this apron would have be worn while hanging laundry up to dry. It has a very large pocket to hold many clothing pins. The back has a button closure and the waist currently measures 32" (the button could obviously be moved, or another added, if it needed to be made smaller). The apron measures 18 3 4" long and the width at the waist is 12 1 2" and the width at the bottom is 16
