Study, Epic Nashville when the light was spectacularThe beautiful primary colors of peak autumn foliage caught my eye during a crisp fall day in western North Carolina. The cerulean sky was a perfect backdrop, and I enjoyed the gentle billowing clouds. Sometimes in life, everything aligns perfectly, and this was one of those rare moments courtesy of Mother Nature. It was, to borrow some old 1980s slang, "Epic." A larger painting based on this initial study, Lake Santeetlah, North Carolina, is available.
