Aspelund Road betterdays This work is special because"Aspelund Road" is an original acrylic and gold leaf painting of Aspelund Road in Central Alberta. This painting was inspired by a family drive that I took out to Sylvan Lake this summer. We stopped just at the top of a hill to take this photograph, and the sight of the canola fields in bloom and blue skies was just breathtaking.
