German made Bakelite / steel tape measure marked Germany but in inches

There is no date marking

There is some light wear on the outside and inside there appears to be some light water staining in one corner

I can no longer remember where exactly I picked this one up and the markings did not really help. I think it is German made but it is good for any impression. It needs cleaned. The celluloid looks like it bubbling up a bit from the body of the knife.
