Aldo Conterno purchased the Bussia Soprana property in the late 1960s, and his single vineyard interpretations of Cicala, Colonnello and Romirasco helped establish the cru bottled approach that now defines fine Barolo. The Cicala vineyard is the cooler of the family's three Bussia parcels,
