SALE, Charcoal, Dark Red/Blue Yarn-Dye Stripe, Vintage Japanese Kimono Hemp? from Japan By the Yard #262 5/16" Button or Bead they indicated Handwoven Certified YukiMedium gray woven from fine black and cream threads, contrasted with black and red making dark red, and black and navy making dark navy. Mid lightweight and thin, we think it's either pure silk or a silk wool blend. It's a beautiful high end stripe, maybe not quite as soft as pure silk, or maybe a twisted thread silk creating a subtle, less smooth texture. It wrinkles and holds a crease like silk perhaps mostly hemp or wool, blended with some silk.
