I chose sunflowers for this painting because I feel like sunflowers are one of the most joyful and hopeful flowers around

This painting was a smaller version of the Hallelujah painting that I did for the CD Cover for Kappella Kyrie Slavic Chamber Choir in 2024. The painting itself is symbolic of putting your faith and trust in God, and focusing there through whatever comes, and nods to the beautiful colours in the Ukrainian Flag.
