Boatrocker Birrativo 700ml EURO crafted from imported barley andWe have merged the Italian for beer (Birra) with the Italian word Aperitivo (meaning aperitif). We wanted to create an Australian spin on a classic aperitif, one where the old world and new world meet, with each contributing to a sum greater than its parts. We also wanted to add an extra Boatrocker touch by distilling beer to be used for the base spirit. From the old world we looked to classic bittering agents such as gentian root and quassia chips.
