Description

I have some and have caught a few fish with them and gold does prove to be the best color for reds and here in northeast fl where I live and fish anything flashy is good but here in Jax fl the water is constantly murky due to the tannin in the river so being that Luke says its best for clear calm water in shallow depths I modify it a little by adding procure inshore scent and inserting a rattle in the head of the bait underneath the screwlock a good bait but the saltwater assassin is great to in the chic on a chain color already with a chartreuse tail and a meatier head a rattle firs a little better already green gold and silver a great bait as well but the slam shady for me is not the best paddletail lure its a good one dont get me wrong but here in the northeast and northeast a bait with chartreuse and gold is even better thats why even with the 2.0 I modify it by dyeing the tail chartreuse to me for my fishing I found the new live target slow roll shinier is unsurpassed for realism action and can be rigged with a twist lock hook as well lifelike eyes impregnated in the plastic its so alive looking you almost have to look twice the only thing making it look like a lure is the paddletail obviously no fish has a tail like that but because its clear its not noticed and i dye it chartruese and insert a rattle making it about as noticed here in my waters as it can be but this is what works for me what you guys use is your choice thanks for all you do Threw a jerk shad a split tale minniow and worked in calm clear water so I am exited to try the Alabama leprechaun
